Give Me Faux Fur or Give Me Death

Coat: H&M
Shades: ZeroUV
Shoes: H&M
Necklace: H&M
Rings: Forever 21
Lipsticks: Lime Crime

I've been searching for some faux fur for a while now, and this coat from H&M was well worth the wait! It was the last one in the whole store, and a size 12 (yes, I do realize I'm not a size 12) but I love oversized things enough as it is so I had to snag it. I've been mixing a lot of browns and blacks lately and wanted to keep the focus on the jacket, so I paired it with my American Apparel disco pants and a simple black lace crop. These ankle boots have such a great, thick heel for support and they're a great winter shoe! Black Cactus London has some of my favorite little bags, and since I really don't carry much with me I opt towards little bags like this clutch. All of their bags are custom-made, and incredibly gorgeous, so definitely go check them out here! I'm also obsessed with these aviators from the lovely folks at ZeroUV. I never thought aviators looked right on my face, but they have so many different sizes and these fit perfect! Go check out all their rad sunnies and shades here! If you know me, you know how much use I get out of this chain necklace. I cannot find another one even close to as perfect, and I seem to find a way to put it with every outfit. Finally, I am swooning over my new lipstick purchases from Lime Crime. Their shades are ridiculously pigmented and I've been in search for a great blue lipstick for the longest time. I also came across this beautiful dark sparkle green on my voyage. (The colors are "No She Didn't" and "Serpenita" in specific) Many more posts to come now that my semester is officially OVER. Have a rad week! XOX Violet

Glazed & Confused (tbt)

Kimono: Hotel Brahvo
Shorts: Thrifted
Headband: ANTIApparel
Ring: DemiFlux
Sandals: Forever 21

WELL HELLO. I've missed you dear blog. Yes, I am still very much alive, and yes college has decided to smother me so much so that I have no life. I found this shoot from summer I decided to put up as a throwback thursday post for fun! (yes, I realize it's not thursday but whatever you get the point). During summer, this fabulous flower kimono from Hotel Brahvo was one of my absolute favorite pieces, it makes me feel like a hippie flower child. Check out their lovely etsy shop with lots of sweet vintage wear here! I also ADORE this "glazed and confused" donut tank from the Lost Pony - too adorable! Paired this look with some holographic sandals, and added some more flowers with this headband (which is actually a choker I turned into a headband) from ANTIApparel. I WILL be doing more posts now that first semester is finally coming to a close - so stay tuned! Peace, love & rad! XOX Violet

Hollaback Girl

Jeans: Vintage
Sunnies: ZeroUV
Kicks: Converse
Beanie: Forever 21
Snapback: H & M

FEW TIMES I BEEN AROUND THAT TRACK, BUT IT'S NOT JUST GONNA HAPPEN LIKE THAT. Hello interwebz, it's been quite a while now! My life has been rather chaotic with that thing they call college. However, I am back and mega psyched for this look. Today, I tried to channel the more punk-rock side of one of my all-time favorite ladies, Ms. Gwen Stefani. As you know I cannot get enough of anything holographic, so I ADORE this tank from the wonderful Bohemian Seed. They have tons of sweet vintage wear, so definitely go check out their shop here! S/O to my rad momma for custom making these jeans around 1980 and saving them so that I could be stylin'. Thought I'd throw on some chucks and a beanie, and of course these lovely steampunk sunnies from my favorite sunglass shop, ZeroUV to fully complete my punk aura. Have a rad weekend! XOX Violet

Romeo, Romeo

Romeo Maxi: Stylist's Own
Holographic Purse: Black Cactus London
Ring: DemiFlux
Choker: ANTIApparel

WHERE FOR ART THOU, ROMEO? For today's look, I took aspects of my favorite Leonardo DiCaprio movies. This fabulous maxi dress from the rad folks at Stylist's Own shows our beloved modern-day Romeo, and since I was visiting family in New York, I thought the water would be a perfect backdrop that I couldn't quite acquire in Nashville (Remind you of another iconic Leo film?) First off, this dress is such a statement piece, so I wanted to make this the focus of the look and not take too much away from lovely Leo. However, I thought this precious holographic pocket book would be a great add-on. I have not stopped using this little piece since I got it from the wonderful peeps at Black Cactus London! They have SUCH amazing little bags and coin purses, definitely check them out here. Again, one of my favorite galaxy-like rings from DemiFlux, which went along perfectly with the bag. Pony-tails are back in action with this look, since I wanted to highlight the backless feature of this maxi. Well friends, as our Juliet would say "Parting is such sweet sorrow,That I shall say good night till it be morrow" Wishing you all a rad week, until next time! XOX Violet

I'm Just a Girl

Overalls: Motel Rocks
Clueless Crop: Hell's Kitten Couture
Rings: DemiFlux

Long time, no blog! (Okay it's been a week, but I'm having withdrawals). If you're even somewhat familiar with the 90's, you know a little band by the name of No Doubt. The band was fronted by leading lady, style icon, (and all-around major woman crush!): Gwen Stefani. So I'd like to thank Gwen for inspiring this look. These paisley dungarees are from the insanely rad Motel Rocks<3 Underneath, I'm sporting some more 90's fun with this precious "Clueless" crop from Hell's Kitten Couture. They have tons of adorable tanks and crops with some of my favorite decals (I'll be posting some more in their stuff - so stay tuned!) Definitely go give their etsy shop some love here - the crops are some of my favorites! The spacey, sparkling rings are from DemiFlux, and the purple and blue matched PERFECTLY with the paisley! Tried my best to make the grunge queen proud with my tiny twin buns, dark lipstick, and docs to finish off the look. Hope you have a rad labor day! XOX Violet
